Lime-leaved

A grape variety native to the Carpathian Basin, which is present in several wine regions, but is most characteristic of the Tokaj Mountains.
Hárslevő is a native grape variety of the Carpathian Basin from the Vitis vinifera Pontian Balcanica branch. Quality white wine grape, in terms of domestic distribution, it is the ninth most common variety.
Its grapevine has strong growth, sparse foliage, and produces evenly and abundantly. Its leaves are intact, round; its curls are very long and loosely structured; its berries are medium-sized, round, thin-skinned, and juicy. They grow well in sunny, dry vineyards.

The wine of Lime-leaved

The wine of Lime-leaved is definitely fragrant, but never muscat or perfumey. It produces particularly soft and lovely wines on loess soil. Thanks to the aging in wooden barrels. A little residual sugar can make it particularly beautiful, although it is also excellent in dry schooling. As a dry wine, Hárslevelű is a thick, full-bodied, greenish-golden drink with a strong aroma of spices, pollen and flowers.

Gastronomic recommendation

The lighter type can be enjoyed with dishes in which fresh, steamed or roasted vegetables they are given a significant role, but a gently prepared one fits here chicken or turkey dish too. However, if, due to frying, a pronounced crust forms on the meat, or a more massive creamy, buttery sauce is added to the dish, it is worth choosing from the more serious weight group.
